Consuelo Higdon
Consuelo Higdon is a writer and illustrator whose work demonstrates human connections made between fairies and monsters, vampires and science experiments, and people with their environments. Based in Napa, California, they draw inspiration from independent cartoons and comics, worldwide travel, and environmental science.
Consuelo graduated with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Illustration from the Cleveland Institute of Art in 2022. Their artistic journey is driven by the awe and wonder of sci-fi and fantasy films such as Pixar's WALL-E, Dreamworks' How to Train your Dragon, and Studio Ghibli's Spirited Away.
